Hi guys, I'm after a bit of advice and this is my first post so appologies to admin if its in the wrong section

I collected my 57 plate Octavia VRS Diesel on sat just gone, and on sunday some silly old bugger decided to drive down the middle of the road and took my wing mirror clean off :(

Does anyone have a new wing mirror or know where I can get one??

I need a red one with the incorporated indicator and it is elec and heated.

Someone knocked my shell off (cover and indicator) and it cost me about £85 for parts and spraying. Wing mirror is the same as the last shape Polo but the price is pretty much the same, so you may as well go to the local dealer. It's unlikely that people on here will be selling them as it's not really an upgradeable part!

ah right , ok mate thanks . I may try a few breakers if not I will have to bite the bullet and get an OEM part :( they quoted me £221 painted but not fitted

Get one from a scrap yard, then all you need is the shell from the dealer and to get that painted.

The silver lining with this cloud is that he only totalled your mirror - he could have done the whole side
