That's the colour of your contact lenses.

The colour is spot on. I took the pics with available light to avoid the flash bleaching out the imperfections, so they look slightly different to standard. I can assure you though, they are the right shade of silver. Also they're very dirty which won't help.

What needs to come up now is one 18" zenith, preferably going for a song....

That's a steal at that money, even if they do need a refurb. Nice find

Just a quick update on the ebay wheels. My local friendly garage checked them out for me on their balancing machine this week. One was out by 15g, two by 10g and one was bang on. They ran true and weren't egg shaped either. All I need to do now is save up for a refurb and some new centre caps.
