Skoda Fabia - Damaged seat

Featured Replies

My Skoda Fabia 2002 driver's side seat is damaged. Maybe damaged isn't the right word.....as it doesn't prevent one from sitting in it or anything like that. It just looks bad with a hole in it. How do I go about getting a replacement? There must be a way.......?Thanks. :'(

scrappies, fleebay theres quite a few being broken for parts. im sure there are people that will repair them by repadding and replacing fabric.

thanks you read my mind there

It isn't made of leather. :-(

What they do is re-upholster seats in leather. It doesn't matter what is on the seats at present, they sort them out. Quite pricey, but going by the pics I've seen you get a lot for your money (compared with cost of leather as an option at new) and they do a very good job of it too.

You can buy a replacement seat cover from Skoda for not too much money.

I remember a thread a month or two ago saying that the Lidl seat covers fitted surprisingly well on the fabia. Perhaps this might be a better option than a new seat?

You need a spare grand for this option though :(

Depending on where in the country you are then there are a pair of front seats for sale here

Or try eBay

I would like to get a seat which is in the same pattern as what's there at the moment. I can remember I had an rover before and I wanted a new seat for it. I found a car in a scrap yard with exactly the same patterned interior. I've been to the same scrap yard again and no luck.....in fact there aren't any Skodas there at all from recent years. My best option might be to contact a Skoda dealer then......?

Do the different design patterns have their own part nos.? How do I find this out if this is the case? Thanks.

mine had a new seat cover VRS one from skoda £267!

Can you do an online searc for Skodas in scrap/salvage yards? Try googling that and work from there - if you want a seat thats the same as yours then im afraid its a load of good old phone bashing and/or driving round places.
