Hi,

Since all the bad weather and ice ive had a broken front spring, speaking to Skoda main dealer it will be approx £180 for a pair of front springs, but GSF can do the pair for £100, and its listed as my car - 02 Octavia vRS.

Has anyone bought springs for there vRS from GSF, if so have they been the right ones, ie poundage, height etc?

Im just a bit worried that alought they would be £80 cheaper, the springs would be too high or too soft....

Seems a bit steep, but they are expensive. I paid £70 for one from Skoda last year.

Did the same as you with GSF, but chose to go Skoda as I wasn't certain the spring would be any good.

The one you want is:

1J0 411 105 AJ (coil spring for sports type running gear)

Colour coding :- 1 violet paint mark, 4 yellow paint marks

Here's a pic of my now redundant spring, that I used for a week to get me out of trouble before fitting coilovers:
