Scout vRS

Featured Replies

The small print in the current "VAT free" adverts refers to a Scout vRS, although I suspect there's a comma missing between the two. Is there anything on the jungle drums out there, as a CR170 Scout would be great?

Jeepers if one had been available when I was looking that's what I'd be driving now. I think typo is the most likely answer.

bet it wouldn't take much to turn a scout into a 170 bhp machine. likewise a 1.8 tsi 4x4 could be a very rapid thing indeed if re-mapped as it would put down power alot better than a vrs

Well the 1.8 tsi already puts out at least 160bhp. A stage 1 remap will take it up to 195 bhp with added torque. Combine that with the 4WD and you will have a very capable machine whether it's the 4x4 or Scout.
