I ordered a new black VRS Octavia about 2 weeks ago and I've still got 7 weeks wait. Does anyone know, Is this a normal delivery waiting time?

My company tried 18 different models of fast car before buying the VRS- all of those who drove it couldn't believe the power and its road holding ability, I spent 2 hours driving one at work- and the next week went to the garage and bought one...........

Someone else saying they were given a delivery time of 14 days. Personally I doubt I would ever have it in me to wait 9 weeks for a car. Have always bought cars that were already in garage. Therefore the longest I have ever had to wait was 3 days (while finance came through and they checked the car).
