Just ordered a new Vrs

Featured Replies

Just ordered a new Vrs in race metalic blue with a full leather interior, maxi dot, and rain sentative wipers and auto lights. Got it for 18k otr

Now just need to sort out tuning thinking of going to JKM for a full stage 2 kit with fuel pump. Any body got any other ideas for a decent tuner in the south?

Went and had a look at the ford focus RS but 30k is just to much for a car!

good colour choice mate , well done

Well done

Its Petrol the FL new engine chips realy well according REVO 266 BHP and 313 Ft Lbs of tourque from stage 1 cant be bad I have seen stage 2 Older TFSI with loads of mods that can't get that amount of power. so might no go al the way to stage 2

Anybody running a FL on 19" wheels if so does it need lowering?

Make sure you can put up with the rattle that eveyone is experiencing - to me it is not acceptable and everyone who has heard it says is does not sound right. If selling privately in the future this will put any potential seller off in my opinion.

Rattle?

Noisey wastegate so I am told - dont care where the sound originates from. It is unacceptable and seems to affect a number of cars in VW group. Many many people unhappy about it on the internet....

Never heard of the "rattle" and I'm a daily visitor to the site since last summer and own my new petrol FL since Dec. :wonder:

The petrol vRS doesn't have a 'rattle' - the noise they refer to sounds like an exhaust 'rasp' to me and it really isn't noticeable.

Ha ha, sounds like the new exhausts need to age a bit with carbon build up. Sounds like some are listening for noises. :giggle:
