Removing lipstick!!

Featured Replies

My nephew has just used a full lipstick all over the door panel and seat on hit Seat Leon, has anyone got any ideas as to the best way to remove it? (No rude ones please ;) ) He doesn't want to risk spreading it but to be honest it couldn't look much worse, it is about a foot square on the door panel, and quite a bit on the seat. It is grey cloth interior.

Any help much appreciated.

I would consult several experts, sounds like make a mess of this and it will mean a new door card at least :(

Sure one of briskodas resident car care specialists will be along shortly to offer sound advice.

Just don't rush in with the Vim and Billo pads ;)

Yeah that is what i told him, i'll wait for some expert advice then. At the moment it has just been left as it was.

Probably work PMing Mark, aka wax wizard for some help :)

He doesn't even look sorry.

Put him to work cleaning chimneys :D

Just in case this happens to anyone else, IPA (as recommended by Wax wizard :) ) did the trick brilliantly. That is Isopropyl Alcohol not Indian pale ale ;)

He looks so angelic, unlike the door which looks like it is going to be a devil to get clean :)

It is my brothers car, and i have now banned him from smoking in it!

Very wise!!!

Xyelene would have also done the trick. I hope that child was given a good hiding for doing that. It is the only way they learn.

Presumably it never did you any harm?

Even though Briskoda is full of evidence to the contrary, i.e., your posts
