Fiat 500 1.2 lounge

Featured Replies

The wife's car (no, really, it is!)

1.2 petrol in Lounge spec.

Very funky looks, great interior space which is very light & airy thanks to the glass panoramic roof.

Build quality is suprisingly good, panel gaps small & consistant, paint finish very nice, interior materiels are of a good quality (cordura fabric on seats etc)seats are quite firm & very comfy.

Driving position OK, but no reach adjustment on steering wheel & can feel a little cramped by centre console against your left leg.

You need to have feet the size of a footbound hobbit to use the footrest. Gearstick mounted quite high, touring car stylee!

Lounge spec probably the one to go for, has lots of goodies, alloys, aircon, bluetooth, decent stereo with usb connection (Ipod does NOT connect though).

Engine wise, it's a little lump, naff all under 4K but loves to rev, even manages to have a fruity exhaust note.

Returning 40+ MPG with lots of in town driving( & plenty of terminal valve bounce  )

Ride quality is pretty good for a car the size of a rollerskate, a bit fidgity on long sweepers with a lot of lean, but pretty well damped. Steering feedback quite wooden, steering is VERY light & can be lightened further by pressing the 'city' button. Round town the car is superb.

Overall very impressed, no problems at all so far over 6 months & 6K miles.

nice reveiw... you can get the ipod to connect to blue & me... it just takes some convincing! lol.... blue & me = microsoft, ipod= apple.... but it is possible  we've put swmbo ipod in mine before, but I have an 8 gig memory stick I use :)
