An every single standard part that was taken off has been kept in the attic.

Might be worth selling the mods on their own?

I'm only driving 100 miles a week so a diesel is not really necessary any more and was thinking about something a bit more wild!

Thanks guys.

It's definitely worth more in bits and a standard car than as a modified vehicle.

It will cost me £250 to take the bits off my vRS and it added £1000 to the trade-in value to have it standard. Add in the fact that I should raise another £1000 when I sell the bits and it's much more attractive to strip the car.

You should see £5500-£6000 on here as it is, but I'd wager you'll get the same as a standard car and you've easily got £1500 worth of parts there.
