2001 tdi 90bhp ,89000 miles

coolant low on sunday. topped it up.3 days later and 150 miles, expansion tank just about empty again.that's nearly 2 litres in a week.

No loss of power ( from what I can tell.) Can't see any oil in water, Oil level fine.temp sitting at a solid 90 degrees even when given stick, Cant see obvious leeks, though there is evidence of dried pink coolant underneath radiator/ oil cooler on the driver side.(these look like splashes rather than larger amounts)

Any known problems here.?

I am thinking (praying) not hg problem. Water pump maybe? are these radiators prone to leaking?

Would hg failure cause bad running?

experiences ideas ta.

It does sound like a leak from the radiator area, though. Check the hoses haven't worked loose for starters...
