Lovely stuff.

cracking shots. If you used HDR the one with the sheep would be even better - you'd see the sheep.#

I really like the one with the snow

I'm most impressed Dan - top quality stuff - expect PMs asking for hints & tips!

Very nice. Can you add locations to them as well? Just curious :)

great pics, more inspiration/nagging for me to get out and about with the camera again soon.

Terrific photos but one thing I just can't get my head around is the concept of people surfing in the UK. It just doesn't compute for me.

make one, i made mine- couple of glass lifters, sturdy tripod and lots of gaffa tape/ duck tape. this one survived a vw caddy with a 1.8T engine transplant wheel spinning off ( the guy was so eager to get some photos, he didnt listen to what i said when i explained he had to set of slowly) so its pretty sturdy. but tbh to get a sucessful rig shot you only need to travel at 3 0r 4 mph for around 5-10 seconds, with a nice smooth set off, so the rig wont be under much stess at all.

also if you browse through my flickr you can see loads of rigshots that ive done with this set up

im going to be doing some more rig shots of my car in the near future, anyone around sheffield is welcome to tag along and have some photos taken if they like, it will most likely be in meadowhall shopping centre underground carpark. ill probably put up a post nearer the time.

Loving the rig shots! I'm in Sheff and I'd love to do this. Let me know when. B)

My favourite is Tolcarne beach. The water looks very strange, timed exposure with small aperture & filters?

Brilliant idea for your 'DIY' rig!

what are the blue things you have over the feet to stop em marking the paint? if i were in sheffield id come along for a chat but im affraid somthing else might break on my car if i drive it any further than i need to  plus its a fare trek!

il have a look through your flickr and add you!

yea, think it was around 30 seconds so the waters movement in that time was captured as a complete blur.

a small soft rubber ball wrapped in fleece to absorb any bumps. worked really well, used the same set up on lots of cars, works fine for em all as long as you can find a flat spot to attach the lifters too, bumpers, bonnet lines, etc obviously dont work as the lifter cant create suction to stick.

thanks for all the nice comments to everyone who's been commenting!
