Cops with Cameras & Octy's

Featured Replies

Anyone else watching this tonight? Good choice of police cars

Lots of the ambulance estates i've seen locally are now octys as well

There is a unmarked superb running around the Stevenage area...you have been warned LOL

An unmarked red vRS was pulling somebody over on the A66 in Middlesbrough on my way home from work today, they have flashing strobe lights hidden behind the grill but look totally standard, my local Skoda rep told me a couple of years ago that Cleveland police had just ordered 6 petrol versions in different colours.

Do they have vRS front bumpers or normal Octavia bumpers.

I got the p*ss taken when I bought my vRS that I'd bought a cop car and I said naaah, they wouldnt have a red one!!! :) Seems I'm wrong.

I believe West Mercia has at least 2 unmarked and one marked vRS in service at the moment (mate in the Force).

seen one unmarked vrs on the M6 when I used to travel on it often. I think having a candy white estate it makes people slow down abit just incase I'm the plod lol

i'm a paramedic with the northwest ambulance service and we use quite a few octavia's the 140 bhp diesel versions though, i much prefer them to the previous Volvo V50's we used, it is these cars hat have made me go out out and order myself a 2010 octy vrs

You'll have to rig up a quick release for an MFD3 so you can swap it between vehicles emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Just for reference they even have a LE after having a chat with Derick (Middlebrough)....

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) are increasingly turning to Octavias for general patrol (140 diesels). Usually metallic silver, with day-glo yellow checkerboard police livery. It's one of those engines that will be outrun by Porsche Carerras, but will be more than adequate for keeping in touch with the average transgressing driver in a non-motorway situation.
