Replacement Windscreen

Featured Replies

Hi all

i'm off to National Windscreens in a bit to get a stonechip looked at. When I spoke to them on the phone earlier they read off a list of possible windscreens that it could be (if a replacement is required).

Anyone here know offhand what the tint is on the screen? Its a fabia vRS

Thanks

pl

i think it is green/grey, thats what autoglass told me.

GREEN and definitely NOT grey! I had to go through all three options before Autoglass brought the right one, despite giving them my VIN...

Well the nice fella managed to squirt his special goo in my crack and now it's all sealed etc - pretty good job too, highly recommended.

So thankfully the need for a new screen was alleviated, but thanks for the info folks, its gone into me fabia memory bank!

What if he hates green but loves grey??

Grey is original spec for the elegance.

Likewise untinted, which came on Classics I think - having literally tried all three, I can tell you that either of the others looks daft!

daft is a relative concept

not sure mate hope u get the right screen

Shoulda seen the smile on my face - I didn't even have to pay!

VRS is deffo green

VRS is deffo green

And has the tinted sun strip!

I've had two winscreens for the vRS from RAC, now Auto Windscreens, the second was under warranty as the first replacement began to delaminate.

On both occasions, it was confirmed that the tint was green but I was asked if I preferred a grey or green sunstrip. The OEM is grey but I prefer the green, just me I guess.
