Hi, new Fabia vRS owner.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I purchased a Corrida Red Fabia vRS about a week ago now. It's a 55 plate with 51,000 miles and I paid £5,700 for it. I travelled from Durham to Fife to collect the car from a private seller, which was described as mint condition in the advert, and I was pleased to see the description was more than accurate when I arrived after a 170 mile trip. The car doesn't have a blemish on it, bar some paint swirling which I hope to get fixed.

I have been reading through Briskoda for the past week looking at all the various information and already I have a list of mods longer than I can afford :p.

As for the car I'm already loving it. I'm almost 21 and this is my second car, my first being a Peugeot 306 HDi. The power surge is very addictive but the MPG even more impressive. My plans for the car are to keep it in excellent condition and do a few subtle mods to try and make it unique to me, and a few performance mods such as the RARB and strut brace. I have to say I'm tempted by a remap but would like to keep the power standard for now and maybe hold back on the remap until I have no other mods planned, the clutch wear the remap may cause also concerns me so for now the power will stay standard.

I will put up pictures once the weather improves and I get a chance to properly clean the car.

Cheers, Gaverick.
