YETI branded floormats

Featured Replies

When we were choosing our factory fit options it seemed obvious! not to have them factory fitted but to have dealer supplied / fitted floor mats as they were cheaper :)

HOWEVER when we went to dealer to look at floormats the material ones we were shown did NOT have any YETI name branding on them :'( boo hoo!

and I am thinking it must be the factory fitted ones which do have it and so am jumping up and down shouting "its not fair!" and stamping my feet!! :'(

(just a small strop from me!)

Does any one know if this is the case?

or can you get YETI branded ones from any of the dealers? and if so which ones and where?

This is obviously essential !! for my future happiness driving my soon to be YETI

I was under the impression that the factory supplied mats did not have the Yeti logo on and that the accessory dealer supplied mats did?

Hi Shrub,

I believe you are correct; certainly my factory fitted one's are unbranded and those shown in the accessory brochure have the Yeti logo (which I have seen in the dealer demo).

Regards,

TP

Spoke to dealer today and managed to speak to our salesman and he checked with the service dept. who assured him and then he assured me that we would be getting YETI branded floormats from them....YAHOOO :D:whew:

Heaven knows what the floormats the chap showed us on Sat. were from or for :wonder:

But am now HAPPY  and will sleep  well tonight dreaming of my YETI floormats....

Thank you for all the replies :sun:

Mine came with the factory fitted carpet mats, which have no logo, are of low quality and will probably only last a few months before I've worn a hole in them (no double layer for the driver's heels). I remember when I ordered a new Golf GTI MK4, it came with standard carpet mats, which were of the same poor quality and lasted about two weeks. The dealer replaced them with the luxury carpet mats FOC and they lasted 11 years.

At least the carmats4u items are well made and of reasonable quality.

When it comes to items like mats, I would NEVER buy from the dealer. Why waste money on average items when a bit of searching can get good quality at a reasonable price. The mats I bought fitted perfectly, were well finished and looked brilliant.

On the same trend, I bought a boot mat from Lidl - the price £2.99 (Yes you read it right £2.99) I have even got a spare. I still protect it from the worst (coal sacks) by using a bin liner but the new mat looks the part!

I must admit, I've never paid for car mats, I've always expected the dealer to throw them in as part of the deal – I suppose you get what you pay for!

I have the Car mats 4 you, for my new yeti but can't get them on...Skoda say the studs on the floor come off and my dealer says the hole on the mat pushes over??? How did you get the mats on from carmats4you

I have CarMats4you for my new Yeti but can't seem to fit them...The dealer says that the mats just fit over the stud to the carpet, yet Skoda say the studs push off??? Anyone bought the same mats and worked this crazy problem out??
