My L&K estate rear sill protectors are just plain black plastic i'm afaid

Unfortunately when I purchased my L&K in 2007 the only way you could get the rear ones was to buy the complete kit. I emailed Skoda UK and basically complained that the rear ones were not supplied and that I could not purchase them on their own. They contacted me and said that they have instructed my dealer to give me a complete kit free of charge.

NIce one. So they are available then but only as part of a set of four? I'm enquiring on behalf of my dad who has recently bought an L&K Estate

yup, as per above they dont exist unless you get a new set of four. i always thought that strange when I had my l&k

Part Number anyone for the set of four?

Part # for the plain black set is (scuff plates-Sill panel) KDA 600 001

There are others but they have stainless steel inserts in the front door pieces and cost more. This is the set you would need if the fronts are to be discarded. I paid about 34 quid. It's in the accessories page on the skoda website.

Note there are plastic/paper aids to position them. part # 1zz 898 001 "assembly aid for entry strips." The packaging refers to them and instructions presume you have them.

I managed by guesswork but if you realy care about being precise check out the instructions that accompany the sill plates.

So, to clarify the L&K comes with front "Laurin & Klement" branded sill protectors and no rears. The kit of four that can be bought, Are these branded "Laurin & Klement" or not?

The rears in the kit are solid black plastic and do not include inserts on the rears.
