Featured Replies

hi i have a 2007 fabia vrs se and it doesnt seem to have rear door locks that you can manually lock without central locking, if your battery dies how are you supposed to lock the rear doors as theres no pin to push down, my old 2004 vrs had them?

Anyone? I've the same problem with an 05 model.

you could always use jump leads and a spare battery / car. the drivers door has a door lock you can put your key into to re-open the bonnet?

None of the current VAG range have the buttons on the back door. Neither my old 2005 Octavia or my old 2008 Superb had them. However never had a battery go flat enough to not work the central locking, so never manually locked either.

Sorry to resurrect old threads, but there is a way to manually lock the rear doors in Skoda Fabia 6Y (2007). When you open the rear door, you can see a small round rubber panel on the side of the door. Remove the panel and press the rectang-lish latch deeper in the hole with your key. Replace the panel and close the door. The door should now be locked.

Actually you can also find this info in the owner's manual (in the german version on page 36).

Couldn't find a manual for 2007 Fabia online, but in the newer Fabia owner's manual this seems to be called "emergency locking of the doors". The mechanism seems to be a bit different though.

Hopefully this helps someone googling for this info, like me :)
