Springs

Featured Replies

OK, I have the new springs and tried them out yesterday. Anyone know a good dentist as all my fillings have fallen out! They are rather stiff (350lb front 420lb rear) and would be lovely on track but for the road, if I adjust the Ledas to match, well lets just say they are a tad over the top.

Now bearing in mind the sort of use my car gets (90% granny driving on the road, 10% full on loon on track) I need to come up with a compromise, which got me thinking.

Anyone tried inserts? These are basically bits of plastic/metal/foreign material which you insert into the spring to stop it compressing thereby stiffening it up. Erik, do you sell them? :D

The only inserts we sell are damper inserts, generally for tarmac, forest or somewhere in between.

Am sorting your message as I type this :)

You should do what my local dealer did (whom shall remain nameless) and leave the yellow plastic transportation discs in the shocks after the P.D.I..............Nice!!
