free: spare wheel well foam liner

Featured Replies

Free to a good (or bad) home:

I got my FL Vrs a couple of weeks ago, delivered without a spare wheel. I've since got hold of a space saver spare which is now in the car. To fit this i had to take out the foam liner for the spare wheel well that is fitted from the factory where cars are delivered without spares.

This is now taking up space in my garage.. does anyone want one of these before I chuck it in the recycling bin?

I'm in oxford btw.

I could use that and am in Oxfordshire so be dead easy to pick up. I am even going to pick my car up soon . . .

Funny you are getting rid of it - I am doing almost the opposite. I ordered with a spare for use on any long trips but was going to leave it in the garage for most i.e. normal journeys and rely on the aerosol repair.

Not sure why you would do this? You can get a puncture that completely wrecks your tyre on a short trip, as well as a long one. It is not as if you gain any boot space, or save a significant amount of weight by leaving the spare at home. IMHO
