Powerflex or superpro, pretty much the same really superpro do a couple of different strengths to reduce vibration,

will vibrate like hell when first fitted but put up with it an within 200-300miles it will settle down and be hardly noticable, gearchanges will be transformed, one of the cheapest best mods to do

is it worth replacing the whole unit or just the bushes??

is it worth replacing the whole unit or just the bushes??

they only come as the bushes, no need to replace the whole thing, sometimes need two people or a vice to get the bushes to fit, and get the nut on the end, can be a pain sometimes, i ended up getting a cheap second hand mount circa £10 changing the bush over then just swapping the whole unit when i had a spare sec

Superpro on mine, pretty easy job to do, makes gearchanges loads better and less wheel hop. Well worth doing. Try a search there is a few post on dogbone bushes may help you decide which bushes to go for, there is a few options to go for.

hey up Si. If I didn't tell you last night while we were on the subject I have the powerflex bush fitted

ay up mate ye you did tell me but have been rushin round gettin sorted for work and could'nt remember which one yoe said  where is the best place to get them from??

Don't know much about the superpro bushes, but I do have the powerflex fitted. They cause mass vibration for the first month/two months after fitting before they settle down. It's like your ears are gonna pop from it. Really load vibration through the whole car. If you can live with it for a while they until they settle, they work well and transfer the gear changes well and reduce the wheel hop off of roundabouts.

The vibrations aren't that bad :giggle: , but quite noticable for the first couple of hundred miles.

found powerflex dog bone bushes on ebay £19.95 free del. but will give awesome a buzz

as for the vibrations i travel 200 mile to work so that wont take long to get rid of

I'm currently running a full set of uprated engine mounts and dogbone mount the same as these.

I also have a spare dogbone which has a full dogbone kit (front and back bushes) to fit to compare any difference between the 2.

Cheapest option for a uprated mount is to fit a powerflex bush and that will cost around £16-17 if you fit it yourself.

Superpro here, no vibrations after fitting-cheap, easy mod WELL worth doing ;)
