I can't seem to find the information I require on the forum, does anybody know if I can replace my indicator stalk for one with cruise control and it will work ok, or is there more to it than that?

I think that you will probably need some kind of wiring harness, but that will probably be included in the cruise control kit. You will also need to have it enabled with VagCom.

You will need a wiring harness and a quick mod via vag-com. A couple of regulars used to offer a fitting service.

Otherwise have a quick search on here, I think you can quite often pick up the stalk and loom from ebay. You have to remove the steering wheel, and the bolts for that can only be used 3 times (iirc), there are punch markings

You can get the stalks off ebay for £70-80 with the required wiring loom, once fitted you will need it enabling with vag-com.

People like Awesome and Shark Performance will fit it for you.

As well as removing the steering wheel you need to remove the front wipers and scuttle panel to get at the ecu. I think the link to ebay includes a link to installation instructions.
