After speaking to my friendly MOT bloke I have decided to get a decat pipe.

I was looking at this one.

Will this be a straight swap? What have others used?

I have spoken to R-Tech who can map the sensor out and tweak my map so I really want to do this now.

I am going that route too in the near future, and probably get the same decat pipe.

Your friendly MOT garage must be very friendly to avoid the emmision fail. Those garage's are hard to find

ive got an unsilenced de cat in mine sounds amazin but im havin to go to exhaustuk to get a sports cat fitted as i dnt no any friendly mot guys :'(

and all garages are going to video for the mot in 2012 so theres no way round it

please enlighten me as to a way round a video mot.. unless there is another car identical runnin a cat to swap your plates onto?? save me £175

i cant see that happening for a good few years anyway as the cost would be to much. video equipment not working at time of mot

they couldnt police the mot's anyway they cant now and wont beable to them under staffed to deal with millions of cars vans bikes etcetc being tested

good point but it be my luck to be the unlucky one

they cant even catch all the cars driving around on the uk roads without an MOT, Tax or insurance. the dont have the man power.

ive gone for a turbo back,i also have a friendly mot man.lol
