Had to change the head gasket for ma favorit.. Can someone tell me the torque settings of the head bolts and the spacing for the valve lifters. (or watever u call them) Or better yet.. could someone show me where to download a haynes manual for a 96 skoda favorit 135engine?

You can "download" it from a shop! I had a very interesting email conversation with a senior person at Haynes a few years ago (having written to them criticising their new-format manuals for being too "daytime TV"), and the bottom line is that it won't be long before Haynes don't exist much longer as the information from manufacturers becomes scarcer and new cars are not designed to be repairable by "the home mechanic". They're not perfect, but without Haynes, a lot of people wouldn't have a clue what to do; certainly I found out a great many things about cars from "The book of lies", and buying them has saved me many thousands of pounds over the years.

Someone will have the settings though, they're out in the garage and I don't have time to go out there...
