Humm i'm not sure what to do, i can get a second hand forge brace for £40 which is not too bad really! Also what are peoples thoughts on the rear arb by jabba sport? Is it worth getting one before the other i.e. the front before the rear or vice versa? or i could get both at the same time?!

I should with a bit of haggling be able to get both for £100 what do you think?

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Dave, hope you're well,

I just fitted the Seat strut brace to mine. I'm glad I did, most noticably for me is how the car seems better planted when

braking heavily, and feels a little more balanced on loooong gradual fast bends. All in mine cost me less than £50, including cost

of stripping, powdercoating and vinyl graphics...

Read about it and check the pics here-----> http://briskoda.net:80/forums/topic/153372-recycling-is-good/page__p__1903925__fromsearch__1&

I think Im right in saying that the forge one requires all three bolts to be removed each side, whereas the Seat part only requires

two bolts to be removed. Glad I did mine... RARB next, then lowering springs (-25mm) , eibachs probably. Will stick with standard shocks for now

though. I only boot it on the straights anyway.. :rofl:

Hope to help mate.

Garry.

I would think most people on here would recommend the rear ARB as one of the first mods to do, certainly before strut brace.

Hey,

Yeah i'm good thanks howa you?

I did see your thread and it really does look great in red! I think i will wait and get the seat brace! and i'm glad to hear it does make a difference! I really want to make the handling better! Coming from my TT Quattro was quite a difference lol

I think i will just get the RARB first in that case! I can get the Jabba Sport Brace for £100 which doesn't seem too bad! I take it there is no problems with fitting it to a non lowered car?!

Thanks for you help

Thats great thanks, i think i will just get the RARB to start with then  as i asked above, i presume i don't need to have my car lowered to have a rear ARB?

Thanks again all

Dave

Sorry EDIT.......It really does look great in green :thumbup:

But in my defence there is a little bit of red on it hahaha :p :D

dave

Nope not at all

My car is on stock suspension with the Jabba RARB and the SEAT front strut brace. Feels much tighter than the standard set up

If you haven't already it might be worth upgrading all your bushes to the Cupra/powerflex ones to firm things up a bit even further
