Shark Performance steering wheel transplant 7th March 2010

Featured Replies

During an extremely busy open day at the Shark Performance premises in Mansfield on Sunday, Ben managed to find the time to fit my new toy, so here's a few pics to show the man in action. Cheers Ben

First of all the battery had to be disconnected, then the old airbag had to be removed

Which left us with this

Then he got his big wanger out to remove the splined centre bolt

On went the flat-bottomed wheel, ensuring that the marks on the wheel and the steering column were lined up

Back to fitting the splined centre bolt

A final push to fit the airbag

And hey presto - one flat-bottomed steering wheel
