Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone could let me know any information about the Standard Alarm system on a 54 Reg. Fabia VRS.

The garage that I'm buying it from say it' has a Cat. 2 but I'm sure it's just standard and didn't think they were CAT2???.

Just want to make sure before I tell my insurance duff info.

I know this is probably a silly question, but are those Thacham CAT 1 & 2 as some insurers ask what level of Immo / alarm is on the car and I just put 'manufacturers standard'.

Do the insurance companies already know it's a Thacham CAT IMMO / Alarm?

That's what I say. It's a "Factory fitted" Alarm and Immobiliser. When I initially enquired about it neither the dealer nor Skoda insurance (Zurich) new what Thacham category it was in.
