Hi everyone We have just bought a skoda x reg octavia 1.6 lxi beautiful car well looked after but from a trader we only have 1 key this has no remote bits on it Have been told this could be service key? I have no idea for what this means Hubby has gone to get another key cut for now has the locks sometimes come on when driving along the road or when we first shut the door a complete of times they all locked up? have to make sure key available to open door can any one help

Some Skoda's can be set so the doors lock when you pull away, is this what you mean?

could be it's not has soon has he pulls off! also had another key cut the key we have is a skoda orginal it was put in machine for code which is a (low code/ code 1) which in 1 locksmiths was £27 another Locksmith wants £67
