VRS Tow Bar

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a Fabia VRS, purchased June 2004, which I rate as one of the best cars I have ever had - and I have had some 'good' ones! The VRS replaced a Jaguar xj8 which replaced a Porsche 964 [911] which replaced a Porcshe 968 which replaced an Alf GTV... The VRS beats them all for its all round 'benefits' of performance, ecomony, cost of ownership and practicality.

I too have a sailing dingy which I would like to tow with my VRS. Thus I came upon Briskoda via Google. From the notes posted it would seem that the standard Skoda Fabia tow bar is the one to get and the one to persuade the local fitter to attach. Unless someone knows differently...

If anyone has any more tips and wrinkles I would be grateful to receive them.

My only other comment is - why does the moanufacturer make it so difficult to find out simple things like which oil to use, how much oil it takes to fill from minimum to maximum on the dipstick, what tyre pressures to use without refuelling, etc etc.
