The damage ...

Featured Replies

Here are a few piccies of the damage to my car from the accident a couple of days ago... hopefully repaired in the next couiple of weeks.

To all those who know about MOT's. The car is due for one by the end of the month... (i was taking it there when the accident occured). What points could this cause me to fail on, if it is not fixed before MOT... so I can get it through (hopefully).

Its not apparrent from the picture but the bottom point on the indicator is jutting out slightly from headlight area.

Thanks :)

All lights must work (I think you may have to replace the indicator lens as it looks like it is broken). Only other thing I can see might be headlamp alignment but they should fix that for you if it's out.

Oh dear, and after I sold you those nice bumper grilles. As Nick says, lights must work and lenses should be complete or free from significant cracks. As for bodywork, as I understand it, so long that it is unlikely to injury someone should they catch it, then they can't fail you for dents. I.e. if the front wing was bent back on itself with sharp juttie out bits and exposed wheel/tyres then there would be a problem.

[/quote']check the details here - http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_150.htm

you may be able to get away with an orange bulb, and there is nothing to lose by ringing the MOT garage and asking for an opinion before you take it for the test

Thanks to y'all

@Leeboy: the bumper grills are still OK thankfully so will be placing them in the new bumper!

Just wish people'd look before pulling out on roundabouts, specifically mini ones!
