Back where she belongs - on the drive. Had my first test drive this morning and all I can is FFFF*******CCCCCKKKKKK!!! Even on old mapping this thing kicks ass! Lost a fair amount of low down torque but it still pulls ok. Top-end is just a blur! Can't wait for new mapping and dyno run in 2 weeks time.

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1

A whopping ET25 offset so no need for spacers to clear my Brembos.

What was interesting was the place i bought them from just about REFUSING to sell them to me! Blah Blah, ET25 won't fit a fabia! Oh SHUT UP and sell them to me FFS! :giggle::giggle:

So we have to wait 2 weeks to dripple over the dyno graphs? Gggrrr! Ready for Spring Fest? ;)

Don't think I can come to that. In the meantime, I am aiming to post a 0-100 video, or similar. My private road just needs re-tarmacing, and will be away. B)

I could do with getting similar vids tbh. So first time I get to see some times down the 1/4 will be Inters? Awww wanted to know if I needed to cry at blistering times BEFORE hand!

I guess your 0-100 vids will help, I will cry if they are fast, so stall or something haha

Already stalled it twice today! Need to learn to drive again! :p

The "slightly on the off" Mazda MX5 clutch has been very easy to use. :D

As a guide for speed I did 40 to 80 earlier, on a slight downhill and I swear it took less than 3 seconds. Was quite scary!

That looks very nice B)

No idea what 40-80mph would happen in tbf, so doesnt mean alot haha.... quicker you can map it and get some times the better matey I reckon, will be epic quick id imagine what that sort of power! What torques you want then?

Looking good Jason, love those wheels.

Looks good J. Glad she's back

It looks as good as it ever has mate, even though I did have a soft spot for the Evolvos!!

Still not keen on the tinted rear lights though.

So whats the current spec then?

Well, from what I had last time, I now have

GTB2260vk turbo, converted to vacuum actuation from electronic actuation

Mounted to a equal length tubular manifold

Larger exhaust valves

MORE porting / breathing on a la Jabbasport

Forged rosten rods

Elring 3 hole head gasket

Firad 925HF nozzles mounted on PD150 injector units (+60% ish on stock pd130 flow rate)

Mapping needs updating and still need to look at why the car is hovering in and out of limp mode. I think I know why its doing it as it is driving very similarly to the last time, and that was due to a broken wire in the map sensor wiring (which at the time I cut back, joined manually and taped up, so could well have come apart again.....)

You've missed the new oil-air oil cooler, or did you have one last time?

Are you going to run multi-fuels (NOS & Propane) and/or water/methanol this time?

J, you really are a goddamn f*cking pikey

I'm glad it's back Jason. Can't wait to see what it gets on the RR.

Yep - Forgot the air cooler. Will be good to see how well that works on track. :)

Andy - It wouldn't be a mongrel without a bit of pikey'ism now would it?! :giggle:

Not sure on nos & methanol yet. Both systems have not been activated yet..... Might try the water meth on water only initially soon.

very true

and in true pikey fashion tonight - Vagcom "open/short to ground manifold pressure sensor".... checked wiring I joined and it "seemed ok" - I can only assume the duck tape had affected it as once I removed it, pressed back my "coiled join" with pliers and did up with INSULATION tape, the fault code never came back again and I gave it some full boost to Tesco for a test run.

I really have to watch it though. This thing bounces off the limiter in 2nd for the hell of it! I just cannot catch the revs in time to find 3rd gear - power never stops!

Hey, have you got pictures of the rest of the car?
