Škoda will introduce three exciting new models in the UK in 2005. The three will add to the range of Fabia and New Octavia models on offer and include:

Fabia Sport, joining the impressive Fabia vRS and expanding the sporty Fabia range;

Octavia Sport, adding a sporty dimension to the new Octavia;

Octavia L & K, providing even more equipment and luxury to the Octavia line-up.

The three new models will join the full range of Fabia, Octavia and Škoda’s flagship Superb. The full list of Škoda model introductions is:

Phew - you had me worried there having just taken delivery of a new Fabia vRS - however http://www.carkeys.co.uk/news/2004_november/19/5129.asp confirms:

Skoda is building up to a half-dozen new model introductions in 2005, starting in January and going right through to December. They'll boost the Fabia and, in particular, the Octavia ranges.

In January there will be a new Fabia Sport, a step or two down the performance ladder from the vRS. February, as already previewed, will see the launch of the latest-style Octavia Estate, with the 4x4 arriving one month later.

But there will be two further Octavia launches, just confirmed, in March. A new Octavia Sport will join the range, and so will the top-rated L&K model, named for the Laurin & Klement firm which is where the modern Skoda car company's heritage began.

Then there's a lull until nearer the end of the year, when the new Octavia vRS is due
