I know you have ordered the seals, but most of the time when you strip down the calipers to replace the pads and you push the pistons back and lub the slides, sorts out the sticking !

But if you replace the seals, make sure every thing is clinically clean, while fitting and don't trap the new concertina rubbers as you will be back to square one.

I would certainly try and sort it without fitting the seals first, as it can be a hell of a job to get all the air out when you have stripped them down

OMG what good timing this is, ive got the same car, same age aswell, and mine was in the garage yesterday as I have a sticky caliper... guy took off the rear caliper, cleaned it all and put it back, still got the problem. A 10min drive round the block and the disc temp on the near side was 13 degrees C and the off side (which is sticking) was 33 degrees C... over double in 10min of casual driving!

The guy said I need a new caliper as it could be the hand brake link inside the caliper that is stuck on or the seals, if this seal kit does the job that will save me some money, unless its the handbrake linl???

Any advise on handbrake links, do these things over adjust and stick on??

Thanks for the post :)
