I am being quoted early June for Elegance Estate with 1.4 TSi so that ties in with what you have been told. I have yet to place my order as I am still comparing quotes but will make my decision this week to ensure the "VAT free" offer.

What your only on Octy No 4..............................I took delivery on March 1st of my Octy No 9, you have a long way to go to catch up!

I hope you enjoy the new one when it arrives, and dont forget to order your spare wheel. Alternatively, if your P/Exing your old one and the alloys are the same, then take your old spare out before you hand it over.

Als make sure your getting the electric folding mirrors.

Folding mirrors are annoyingly only available with the electric memory seat option since the factory decided to stop making Elegances with them standard! :(

We get full sized spare here in Ireland as standard and I've ordered the electric folding mirrors. I note Allams post but seemingly they are an option here but not in UK.

Congratulations SoccerC. Ordered a 1.6 TDI CR Elegance in Cork myself on the 22nd of Feb however my dealer claims I'll have it by the 12th of April! Doubt it highly, as he says he can't check the system until six weeks in ( :| ) but the one upside is that he promised me a courtesy car if it doesn't arrive by then.

Didn't look for any extra except Metallic Black and Spare Alloy. Was your dealer able to quote your waiting time from the computer right away?

Well, dealers are dealers, but he did state that the Skoda system was giving him the production week . Doesn't really bother me one way or the other as he'st aking my 08D 1.9tdi with only 18k km as trade in

I was in with dealer today and car was in post production with delivery expected now in week 21.

While there mrs noticed the Yeti and wanted a look and test drive. So impressed was she that our Octy is now set to have a different owner.

So it's goodbye to Octavia II forum and hello Yeti forum.

I don't understand this folding mirror issue in UK cars.

I got 3 options of folding mirrors when i ordered my Scout and none of them is related to electric seats which seems a ripoff:

1. Electrically adjustable, heated, with memory and foldable exterior mirrors - 141 euro

2. Electrically adj. heated and fold. door mirrors with auto dimm. and mem. funct. - 240 euro

3. Electric. adj. heated and fold. door mirrors with auto dimm. and with Boarding-Spots - 225 euro
