VR-s Judder under brakes

Featured Replies

Okay, has anyone had the problem with their VR-s under brakes? Mine has started to judder from what appears to be the front left; almost like a warped disc (but its not).

Car has done 50kms, on H&R springs, fitted with 17's, with Whiteline rear ARB. Haven't changed any of the bushes in the suspension.

What makes you certain that it is not warped ??

+1 for warped disc(s), if juddering is only felt under braking...

Have you had the alignment done since the lowering ?

Tracking could be way out and it is tyre scrub you are feeling

Take it for a fast drive and stand on the brakes a few times, but

come off them before you stop. That should sort them out :)

Pulled the wheel off, mounted a DTI on the hub and the run out was fine. Wonder if it could be those darn console bushes? But they look okay.

Mind you I could be looking at this the wrong way - good opportunity for 312mm brakes and new bushes!!
