do 18" wheels & tyres rub on the arches?

Featured Replies

should be picking up my 18" replica rs4 on monday for my vrs, the one thing i diddnt ask was if there is any problem with the tyres rubbing?

its has standard springs, but fk shocks.

Wheel and tyre size, including the offset?

They shouldnt rub as long as you keep the rolling radius the same.

No problems at all with mine. 18x8" 215/40/18 tyres. Gonna get 225/40/18s next time

No rubbing on mine either on front full lock to lock, or fully loaded three in the back plus twin sub box in the boot. - 225/40 8 x 18

mine dont rub either.

mine never rub... but I have ET42 so the wheels sit about 7mm deeper in the arches compared to ET35

I don't know if you can still choose but higher ET value might be a good idea (depending on which tyres you have)

cheers
