i have to replace discs and pads front and rear on my mk1 octavia and amongst others came across these ones on ebay. they work out aprox the same price as pagid discs and pads i found on ECP.com so am wondering are these ones any better or worse or should i stick with the OEM pagid parts???

Try EBC direct. Got my standard brakes from them for the Vrs and got their fast road pads last time for my old tdi. they give a discount aswell when you go to the checkout. Good price and reputation

i got them from ECP and they worked out good value. just bought the windback tool last week so only just got the rears done...one job done,plenty to do!!

I have some experience in buying from Ebay sellers . Often it's not what they say but what they don't say . Advert does not say Discs are EBC items . I suggest you ask them

I can tell you they won't be...agree a very careful marketing ad there.

Cheap discs means cheap expectation IMHO.
