Traffic @ Night

Featured Replies

Headed out yesterday evening to get a few long exposure shots on the motorway. Got a few good shots in the end. All taken with the D90 and 18-105mm kit lens and circular polerizer to darken them down and bring out the sky a little. Various exposures from 60-180 seconds.

Nice!! Never thought of using a circ polarizer at night!!

Nice photos, I never tire of seeing long exposure night shots like this. I like the last one the most as the sky has more interest in it

good pics

Good pics Dave

I like

Following on from how well Dave has done, I thought I'd venture out and have a go myself to see if what I could manage but without the benefits of a 'proper' camera!

Here's one to add to his 'traffic @ night' collection.

Just South of Jcn32. ;) Mine were at Jcn36..... Shall we try and get all the junctions done.

Cheers for the comments guys.... I think my favourite is the last one as the sky just came good on that one. Glad i ventured out that night..... even if my car now looks like it's been on an off-roading day after nearly getting stuck off of the road where i parked up while i took the shots. :giggle:

Cheers

Dave.
