Bird Poo

Featured Replies

I spent a couple of hours washing and polishing my car yesterday (Autoglym shampoo, Super Resin Polish and then Extra Gloss Protection).

:S This is the sight that met my eyes when I went out to the car this morning:

It was all over the windscreen too. What I don't understand is how my wife's Black Fiat Punto (that I also washed and polished) parked in front of my car escaped untouched.

I've got a little pack of bird dropping wipes but I think it needs a bit more than that!

Wow, did Peter North visit you?

Maybe you upset them at some time in the past!

All better now...

I worked out what must have happened. A passing heron mistook the highly polished Race Blue for clear blue water and swooped in for a watery landing. Upon realising its error it pulled up sharpish at the very last minute but not before sheer terror at such a near miss caused it to evacuate its bowels all over my car. D

I got done the other day, luckily only hit the windscreen. Must have been something big though as it was a real thump. In your case it was either Dumbo or they ganged up on you.
