ASR Light comes on after 10 minutes

Bump

Can anyone post a picture/diagram of the suspected area?

Cheers

There's pictures on the seatcupra thread quoted above although they appear to have been taken through the nearide wing :p

This is on my Fabia which currently has the same problem:

Its very easy to find, jack the car up and take the plastic crap cover off the bottom. Near the front bumper on the nearside, slightly to the left you'll see the angle bracket with the plug/socket connecters. It's low down on the gearbox and there's a large hose that is slightly in the way but you should be able to see past it easily enough from below.

Just on this topic, has anyone found a good source of replacement plug connectors? Both wires have split on my Fabia and they're right up against the plug. I don't really want to hack my loom apart for sake of what can't be that expensive a part to source.

got a similar issue with my 2006 VRS now. Going in to a diagnostic place tomorrow and paying £65 for it. Could be similar wiring fault.

Issue I have is that since this light comes on I dont have much turbo, only kicks in around 1900 and is it's owm man after that, so can be a bit tricky. Also engine does not rev normally of its own accord anyway. Most odd. See what it says tomorrow and go from there.
