Pirelli Pzero Rosso

Note to self....never buy those atrocious tyres.

Double whammy of approx 7mpg deficit in comparison with the winter tyres I HAD on "mah wee beasty" when the weather was great-ish last week

AND......

I got a little too cute in changing winter paws to summer paws a week BEFORE an almighty bloody April blizzard. They are embarrassingly appalling on wet roads (aquaplaning mid corner) and utterly scary in anything more than 1/2" of slush.

With the weekly mileage I do, the cost of changing them out to some Continental paws is insignificant to the butt clenching fear the Pirelli's induce.

edit: spealing pirelli's is oft a challinj in my world!

Hi scunjee,

sounds like you having a similar experience to me :S Except as long as it's not real cold the Goodyear Excellence is not a bad tyre in all conditions.

Thankfully no snow here at the moment as I'm also back on the summer shoes.

Regards,

TP

I disagree. No problem here with Pirelli Pzero Rosso.

Chico - apart from being slightly closer to the equator with your YETI than scunjee, you wouldn't be biased towards Pirelli tyres would you... emoticon-0105-wink.gif

I have had the Goodyear Excellence on all winter and whilst it was probably not as bad here as Aberdeenshire or West Sussex but we still had buckets of snow and ice and stuff and I thought they did very well. They grip like a grippy thing on wet roundabouts too.... emoticon-0144-nod.gif
