Ordered new Octavia vRS

Featured Replies

New member as from today & have ordered an Octavia vRS in Race Blue from local dealers. Order went in on 24th March & I have been given build week 18. Spec includes Maxidot, rear sensors, heated seats and light pack. Dealer very helpful and a good trade in on current car. Struggling to understand why there aren't more on the road, at least around here, as the fit and finish is a match to my Golf and it's got more room & looks just right on the standard 18's and the race blue finish! Only disappointment was the lack of an audio upgrade (Bose/Dynaudio) as the stereo sounded a bit underwhelming. I'll see how I go, but may have to go aftermarket.

Just got to wait for delivery now.....

I hope its better than the Mk1 VRS audio, as that was just horrible.

Spare wheel???

I think you'll find they've moved on a bit since then. My MFD3 sounds fine, and reports of the Bolero seem pretty good too.

Welcome to the site BTW

Thanks. Forgot to mention I also went for the spare and MDI! I'll give the Bolero a go before rushing to change.

The ones in the showroom usually have the settings wrong
