18 in wheels for Superb

Featured Replies

Hi,

Could someone please advice if 18 inch alloys with ET40 and 235/40/18 tyres fit the arches without any scrapes. Another option is to go for 225/40/18 but I prefer wider tread. The car is 1.8T on standard 205/16 set-up.

Comments please.

Oh man, your ride will get noisy and bumpy! But it will look good :giggle:

I fancied this too but then realised that the reason I got the superb is because it is such a comfy cruising machine, and dint want to compromise it so stayed with 17"

You'd best cost in a lowering kit as well unless you like the 4x4 bigfoot look.

They should fit. The ride will be a little harsher but nothing too bad. I run 18'' alloys and lowered suspension. Firmer now but not so much so it's a hard ride.

Standard ET on the Superb is ET37 so you will have a 3mm difference on those rims stated above but this won't cause you a problem..........
