Log TDI Boost

Featured Replies

Hi all, I want to log boost on my TDI (actual vs requested), via VCDS, but I'm not sure which measuring block to use. I managed to do this ages ago................old age must be catching up with me!

VCDS supports these on my ECU.

Cheers, Baz.

It's block 11 - requested VS actual boost. :)

Duty cycle is also good to log in the same block. It should be around 75% at full throttle at 4000rpm. :)

Thanks Jason :) Do you know what block 19 measures ?

I logged this on my dads car, first value as 0.6v ish second was 0v.....hence the question.

Thanks again.

Baz.

I can honestly say I have no idea! :D

I only know about MB11 as its a key block to measure when my tuning is sorted out over the internet. Without the car to hand, MB11 gives the tuner the perfect insight into how the car is behaving.

Baz.

It was the meassure voltage on the regulator in the Diesel pumps, on a non PD engine.

It should be 0.500v to 0.970 volt, with the engine off and ignition on.

Been meaning to go out and do some logging.

What's best to get some accurate and useful data - log from spoolup in 2nd or 3rd to 4500rpm say? And repeat a few times...

Steve
