Hi,

I have a Skoda Octavia SLXi 1999. The problem I have is the window wipers are a bit erratic. At times when you turn them on either intermittent or just for a quick wipe(down on the wiper lever I believe) they will just keep going, you can here the relay clicking as they come down to their rest position but just go up again sometimes stopping in the middle of the screen.

I am wondering whether the relay is on its way out or it may be something more serious. Does anyone know where the relay is located and if it is easy to get to/replace?

More likely an issue with the wiper motor not detecting when it is in the park position I think.....

So possible a change of wiper motor needed?

Possibly a wiper motor needed.... best wait to see what other people say before shelling out on a new motor though
