Hi all,

Gave the car a wee clean yesterday and got a few photos as the light was fading. These ones show the new exhaust (Blueflame, with Miltek de-cat) and colour-coded door handles B)

Comments, questions or ideas all welcome

Like the oval exhaust. Have you any plans to add to the front grill? Really like the cars colour too.

Yeah, slightly maybe possibly considering swapping the Koni FSD's and Eibachs for Weitec coilovers or something...

Thanks! Maybe, I'm actually getting a wee bit bored of the front end at the mo.

If and when the car does get lower, you can consider yourself entirely responsible! :giggle:

even the captin says so

makeitlow.jpgyou gotta follow orders

That's fine, I've been told I'm responsible for worse!

Right guys, I hope you're happy...just decided that when I come back from sea in August or September, she'll be getting some more lowerage :giggle:

And then a vRS front bumper and a Leather Re Trim! ;)

Loving the rear bumper, hadn't seen that yet.. and colouerd keys door handles was always gonna look good!

top marks.. as always, top of the class ;)

Haha, I wish there was a 'Thanks' button

Glad you like it.

Yep, a leather retrim (need to find a way of incorporating vRS seat bolters/foam mind you) will be on the cards. As for the front end, I haven't decided between a vRS front bumper, or the original (square foglight) Fabia Sport bumper...

I have a few other ideas, like splitting the headlights to paint the chrome bit black, refurbing the wheels in either sparkle silver or shadow chrome...thoughts?

I think the deciding factor in bumper choice will be the impossibility to obtain the correct grilles for the pre facelift sports kit spoiler.

As far as I know they didn't ship with the grilles and they were a separate order item that's been out of production for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages!

I hope I'm wrong though, cuz I'm quite fond of the original sports spoiler kit on the front. Not seen one with a Seat splitter on yet, either.

Could ya not pick up a couple of cheap vRS front seats, and then flog ya own? Only problem there is the heating pads though, aint it? Even if ya planned to move them from the original seats to the vRS ones, it's a massive balls ache of a job to do ya self.

Maybe source a couple of bent vRS seats, just for the foams, so you can send them off to be installed, heating pads moved across and then all re-trimmed at the same time? Shame Jase's already got rid of his bent vRS seats.

Ah balls, I hope you're wrong too, as it would be nice and different!

As much as I love my heated seats in winter, they are proving to be a bit of a pain in the backside (pardon the pun) with regards to sourcing vRS seats all right. I think the best bet will indeed be to just source the foams from a bent or torn-up pair and get it all swapped over. Wonder if Seat Surgeons would take on this sort of thing?

Found this, might help with working out what to do seat wise.

vRS seat cover removing

Seeing as SS would have to get this far anyway, I reckon they might be able to just switch the foams over before putting vRS seat spec leather back on If you do this bit ya self on the broken seats and then just send the car over with 4 loose foams in the back.

I've just had an idea... will Skoda sell ya the foams as individual items?

Thanks for the link!

That's a good question...unfortunately the answer will have to wait till August when I return from sea (not easy ordering parts from south-east Asia, which is where I'm heading soon :giggle:)

More food for thought.

Great pics mate, as been said before - drop it on those wheels and you won't look back :)

Except to look for your sump maybe :D

Looks good Andrew. Had a look at it when my car was in Touch Ups getting fixed and you were getting your handles done. Pass it every morning on my way to work parked up across from the college too. Mind you only really noticed it when I was driving the wifes Fabia for the 2 weeks mine was in Touch Ups, must have been on the lookout for Fabias :D

Thanks! I'm sure I've seen the Gora in Touch Ups too. You won't see it at the college now until the end of August though, as I'm about to start my sea phase :)

I know the feeling. After I bought my first Fabia, I started seeing hundreds of the damn things
