Hi guys looking at buying a new car soon as i can the octavia is on my list, saw a 2007 black one today nice spec, but looked like who ever cleans it does it with a brillo pad!!!!.

Noticed anoctavia quite local for sell which is an 07 car and it states its a cr...is this right?? i thought cr started later....any help would be good as looking to view the car asap...if no one know how could i tell when i view the car...sorry it may be a dumb ass question!!!!

The CRs came in late 2008 so as above if it's an 07 more than likely to be a pd, not that there is anything wrong with them. Easiest way to tell is start it up, if it sounds more like a traditional petrol then its the cr but if it sounds more tractor like its the pd.

Thanks confirmed what i thought - spoke to the guy and viewing on saturday - it just filled in the details from his reg plate he said its a pd!....let you know how i go..
