I purchased a shiney new Mk1 Octavia TDI PD last night to replace the ageing BMW 318ti (150k on an N plate) that I am currently driving.

The new one is bog standard, Graphite Grey, with parking sensors. Though from what I understand cruise control can be retrofitted, so I'm havering if I should phone the Garage and get them to fit it before I pick it up.

Get it fitted if you do motorway mile s.

Well I picked it up last night :D

Unfortunately they couldn't get the cruise control fitted, as the get the work done by Star performance and they couldn't do it in time.

So I need to book it in.

Hmmm visions of going to Start Performance to get the cruise control added and coming out with a remap :rolleyes:

Nice choice of car, and like Jon I thoroughly recommend getting cruise control fitted. Apart from making long journeys more relaxing, it can help you keep your licence. :D
