Was just wondering if anybody in the uk has got their hands on their pride and joy yet.

I know one or two of the Irish guys have seen their cars in the last few weeks, but has anybody on the mainland uk, either received their car yet or have a confirmed delivery date within the next month or so.

Mine was ordered at the end of January, through a lease company. Last week they told us should be with you within the next two to three weeks.

The only encouraging sign is that I saw my first one on the road last week, nowhere near a Skoda dealers so not a demo.

If you have a date please let us all know what was ordered, when and the date you have been given.

By the way the one a saw was a silver 10 plate on the M25 heading towards Lakeside on Friday at lunchtime. Was that anybody from this forum.

Lets just hope these cars are worth the LONG WAIT when we get them.

I've one of the Irish ones, ordered on 24/01/10, and received from dealer on 19/03/10, and so far it is everything expected, so anyone waiting, can be assured that it will be worthwhile.

When i collected my greenline last thursday there was also a 4x4 combi elegance :drool: awaiting collection. I saw it before i saw my car and it was the same colour so for a split second i thought there was a mix up on my order. Would have happily taken it if i could have got it for the price of a greenline!

I've handed over a 170CR Elegance Estate in Cappuccino about 2-3 weeks ago. He ordered it well before the official launch date. You'll probably see him on the M25 as he does a 40k per year commute to work!
