Aldi 700 quid Medion PC offer.

Featured Replies

I'm on my second Medion PC and the only problems I've had are down to software issues.

It looks good to me, but I just hope your existing monitor is OK as that's all that is missing and why the price is low. A CRT monitor in PC world is around

Looks great - can't go wrong for that money

I thought I saw a Aldi flyer with a 17"TFT for 399 Euro

only 512 ram.......pah!

thought at that price, i could push the boat out and buy some more, as long as adding it wouldn't invalidate my warranty.......

Somebody buy my car please so i'll have 700 to spend.........

thinking of one myself......but the md8383 is apparently very noisey????

Well it comes and goes, sounds like a hoover on start up, then goes quiet, then noisey when doing things. Still, got to get rid of the 150W somehow...

Very noticable when compared to my work's laptop

Just got it going, busy uninstalling all the AOL bits and antivirus stuff I don't want, but so far so good.

Must go and find 3D Mark....

These are cracking PC's, but unfortunately Aldi does not seem to have kept their price as competitive as it used to be - if anyone is interested, they do take orders up to a week after the item goes on sale, so you don't have to queue up for one - however I wonder if this last batch sold out as quickly as previous ones?

3D Mark results: 6597 for 3DMark 03 and 2357 for 3D Mark 05 - this looks stunning on screen but very jerky (1 FPS at some points of it!).
